THE DAY OF OUR ECOGROW BOTTLE PLANTING

 On 26th December 2023, we started our program that involves all of our classmates which is section 811 for SCSH 1201. We prepared all of the tools and materials that we need as example plant seeds (chili and okra), 1.5ml plastic bottles and two units of soils. However, a week before we already germinated our seeds so that it is easier for them to see the results. We started our project by explaining to them first what we need to do. After that, they eagerly started to make their own Eco Grow Bottle Planting. Here are the pictures throughout the whole project.

In this program, we can create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. By implementing a recycling program within the university, the institution plays a significant role by spreading awareness within the community to apply the three R’s initiative in their daily life. The 3Rs stand for Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Recycling can reduce pollution and decreases the production of solid waste. This program highlights a solid understanding to the community regarding the significance of recycling and encouraging them to reduce solid waste especially plastic materials which is non-biodegradable.

Throughout the project, we can get to engage with various educational activities, workshops, and initiatives that promote awareness, knowledge, and action. We also get to collaborate with lecturers, staff, and community partners to create a supportive and enriching environment for learning and growth.
